MINT TULIP - Easy Cocktails...... 1 2 3 FLOOR

Mint Tulip

This is a cocktail I like to make, and let’s face it sometimes the ladies needs a posh drink two. The alcohol is totally optional. This is by far the easiest recipe of the bunch, the only thing that takes time is the sugar syrup that needs to be boiled and cooled.

·         200ml Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
·         180ml Sugar Syrup – equal quantities of sugar and water brought to boil the cooled
·         Handful of Fresh Mint – plus extra for decoration
·         5ml Bitters
·         3 Cups of Ice
·         100ml Vodka – optional
·         Lime Slices for decoration

Method:

Place everything into a blender and blitz to a slushy consistency. Fill chilled glasses with ice cubes and mint leaves before topping them up with the slushy mix. I sometimes freeze the lemon juice in ice cube trays with a mint leave so everything is extra chilled.
